The Chronicle: New York State Education Department Seeks More Power to Regulate For-Profit Colleges
Education officials in New York today will ask the state’s Board of Regents for greater authority to regulate for-profit colleges, along with the power to charge the colleges for the costs of increased monitoring and scrutiny of them.
