Herald Tribune: FAMU struggles with turmoil
During the last few weeks, the state’s only historically black public university has received a critical state audit. Eight business professors were abruptly laid off. An internal auditor, who said he was investigating administration officials, was put on leave. And the head of the school’s national alumni association called on the school’s top trustee to resign.
