The Oregonian: Clark College decides to dismiss president
The Clark College board voted Wednesday to fire President R. Wayne Branch, who has held the office for three years.
The five-member board unanimously agreed to exercise the “termination for convenience” clause in Branch’s contract, which gives him 90 days’ notice of his dismissal and 12 months of salary and benefits paid at his departure. Under the clause, the board does not have to give Branch a reason for its decision.
