This Day: It’s now official: Workers’ strike kicks off August 25
THE Trade Union Congress of Tanzania (TUCTA) has officially announced a nationwide strike involving all workers to be held from August 25 to 27, this year.
The move is aimed at putting pressure on the government to effect payment of the new minimum wage promised to workers at the beginning of the year.
