Negotiators from the Detroit Federation of Teachers union and the Detroit school district met overnight Monday with Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick.
Local 4 has learned there is a proposal on the table. Negotiators will present that proposal to the union executive board later Tuesday morning.
