Instructions:
1. Download the Explore AR App from the App Store (for iPhone) or Google Play (for Android)
2. Allow location and camera permissions
3. When you see the login screen, do not login, instead click scan code and take a photo of the QR code
4. Download the app content. Do this while connected to wifi. It is important that you do this before the lab because it can take a long time.
5. Prepare for an outdoor field trip:

- Bring a pencil/pen and a printed copy of the lab assignment
- Wear waterproof and comfortable walking shoes
- Bring a jacket and warm layers for cold or wet weather
- Go with a buddy for safety
6. Make your way to the trailhead:

- The trailhead is at the Spanish Trail entrance of Pacific Spirit Park
- This is just east of the intersection of College Highroad & Acadia Road
- This is a 10 min walk from the UBC Bus Loop and a 20 min walk from the Geography building
Tips for best experience:
- Enable cellular data during the walking tour
- Use earbuds or headphones
- Keep the app running by touching the screen periodically. If your phone sleeps, the GPS will stop recording and narrations will pause
- Make sure your device is fully charged
- If you get confused, there is a trail map in the inventory
