Thank you for your kind words Jing. I enjoyed reading this book immensely. More so than others, because the book has a medical perspective to it, too. A very unusual angle, particularly since the author herself was from a privileged ‘political’ background. She writes with great political indifference. A rare combination of neutrality and calmness. I hope you enjoy the book.

Thank you Jing for your kind comments. I certainly enjoyed writing the review. The book is a rare combination of poignancy and clarity — written by an individual from a ‘good political’ background. I especially relished the fact that the book discussed medical perspectives from the Chinese barefoot doctors. An usual perspective. I hope you enjoy the read.
