One of the first games I remember seriou…

One of the first games I remember seriously playing was King’s Quest VII on the home computer.  It was an adventure-like game where you navigated a series of islands to collect things and generally was a lot of fun.  I remember also from 510 thinking about this game as it has a great impact on problem solving development and allowing use to use trial and error to be successful.  That game was wonderful (although from what I understand, I-VI were not).

I also remember being sent to the computer lab to play with those very simple match games and math games.  Their instructional viability was less subtle, but also taught valid skills while mesmerizing the learner with flashy colours.
