Week 10 PBA – Final Post, assessment related to product

I have used e-portfolio, blogs, and wikis. I like the affordances of reflection and authorship. However, although they have proven quite effective, I would like if the assessment could be in a form that was directly related to the product. For example, a wiki and blog seem so far removed from Mathematics in so many ways. For this, amongst other reasons, I would like to see and utilise more of the service aspects of PBA in that assessment is more integrated with the product form and further tied to: learning, progress, remediation and development, as seen in adaptive and personalised learning services like Knewton. I would also like such services more easily accessible, for example in the use of m-learning and m-portfolios.
