Aurasma

As a second experiment with AR, I downloaded and used Aurasma. I did not take it very far in terms of this particular experiment, as I only tried it in my apt and on used the ‘apple’ of my computer as backgrounds. It was very magical to see the first instance of the playback upon pointing at the target again.

Since I teach film marketing in January, I think I will incorporate this into the marketing assignment. My students are required to make posters and press kits, among other things, and I believe this will allow the students to develop innovative and different marketing campaigns. I believe the nature of AR forces us to think differently. It augments our thinking, if you will, to a level where nothing is just what it seems. I believe this is intriguing
