Staying with the trouble: Donna J. Haraway

Anthropocene: relating to or denoting the current geological age, viewed as the period during which human activity has been the dominant influence on climate and the environment.

Capitalocene: understood as a system of power, profit and re/production in the web of life; refers to the complex networks that have transformed lives for everybody on this planet.

Chthulucene: is associated with things that dwell in or under the earth. The Cthulucene, for Haraway, refers to processes of reworlding. She says that the Chthulucene is made up of ongoing multispecies stories and practices of becoming-with in times that remain at stake, in precarious times, in which the world is not finished and the sky has not fallen—yet. We are at stake to each other.
