Nilay and her fellow MBA student Mustafa Sabban are trying to spread this message through the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Club at Sauder School of Business. In November the club are hosting Reboot Startup Weekend, a unique business competition that gives ALL students the chance to try and revive real technologies developed at UBC.

Channel your inner Katniss by taking part in Archery Tag® — a fast paced game similar to paintball but with bows and arrows instead of painful balls of paint. Imagine a combination of paintball, dodgeball and archery all in one. It’s fun, frenetic and guaranteed to get your heart-pumping.
The game is simple, you try to shoot foam-tipped arrows that look like big marshmallows, but has plenty of skill.

Election will happen on Thursday, November 15th, 2018 during the Graduate Student Society Council Meeting, which takes place in the Michael Kingsmill Forum, the Nest (4th floor) at 5:30pm. Attendance in person is strongly encouraged when your application is reviewed as there may be questions about your candidacy and more nominees than available seats.

There are vacancies for two graduate student representatives for the Faculty of Arts Council (FOA).
If you would be interested, please send an email with your name, email address, program, degree and faculty and one paragraph detailing your motivation to join to aa@gss.ubc by Friday, Nov. 7th .
FOA meetings take place once a month (usually on the 3rd Thursday of every month, we rarely use up the full 1.5hr). The rep will serve as a voice for their constituency- they are able to vote on matters that arise from these meetings and can bring issues forward to discuss.
