Craig Dobbin Legacy Scholarships

Supporting research connection between Canada and UCD

We are excited to inform you that we are now accepting applications for the Craig Dobbin Legacy Scholarships, with a closing date of the 29th of May.

Thirty Craig Dobbin Legacy Scholarships are being awarded under this programme supporting research in the Arts and Humanities (interdisciplinary proposals are welcome). Fifteen of these scholarships will be awarded to UCD researchers seeking to conduct research in Canada, with another fifteen being awarded to Canadian scholars seeking to conduct research in UCD.

Research scholarships ranging in value from €5k to €7k will support research visits ranging in duration from 2-4 weeks. The  application process has been designed to be very streamlined and efficient, to facilitate applicants.

A minimum of three scholarships will be made to scholars whose application proposes to conduct research which connects Memorial University Newfoundland with UCD.

The Craig Dobbin Legacy Programme is an initiative of ICUF, the UCD Centre for Canadian Studies and UCD’s College of Arts and Humanities. We are very grateful to the Dobbin family for their ongoing support of the work of ICUF, and of this programme in particular.
