VPL Public Talks Speakers Wanted
Let’s Talk Science, in partnership with the Vancouver Public Libraries and UBC, is looking for volunteers with expertise related to Green Cities, Recycling, Renewable Energy, Oceans, and/or Climate Science to give a public talk at the VPL Central Branch in April or September. These Public Talks will consist of a short presentation on your research, a fireside talk with an Academic in the field, and taking questions from the audience. This is a great opportunity to engage with the public on your research and another great thing to list on your resume!
