The Climate Solutions Showcase aims to feature UBC students, researchers and staff, and external partners who are working on climate solutions to present their climate-related research and projects. We hope to engage with new audiences, brainstorm opportunities for knowledge mobilization, establish connections and opportunities for collaboration, and foster a sense of agency amongst youth. Given the urgency of climate action in the context of the upcoming elections, the theme of the Showcase will be “Climate Solutions and Civic Engagement”. We will have an exciting keynote speaker, a lunchtime boothing fair where climate organizations can present their work, engaging panel discussions, an interactive room with climate art, and an evening social. The event is free!
