CPSA Events: Mental Health, Anxiety, and Autism Spectrum Disorder

The Counselling Psychology Student Association (CPSA) is hosting its next event. Rebecca Farnell, RCC, will be presenting on mental health and anxiety in clients with autism spectrum disorder. Join us on Monday, November 29th, 12:00-1:00 PM.

Rebecca Farnell is a Registered Clinical Counsellor and owner of Rebecca Farnell Professional Services. She has 20 years experience working with people with disabilities in many different capacities. Rebecca started her journey as a support worker as well as an educational assistant in the school system. She has her degree in Child and Youth Care from UVIC and her Masters in Counselling from Adler University. Rebecca is passionate about working with folks on the Autism Spectrum and has worked in many different areas in this field including: Camp facilitator, pre employment skills program coordinator, social skills worker and presently as a counsellor. Rebecca counts it a privilege to work with this population and desires for the world to become a more inclusive and caring place.
