Urgent request for TA posting for BIOL 328

Standard

We are urgently seeking a motivated graduate student to fill a Term 1 TA position in BIOL 328 (Introductory Parasitology). This position does not require expertise in parasites, only a willingness to stay one step ahead of the students. Knowledge of basic light microscopy would be useful, but is easily learned. This TA must be able to teach 2-5pm on Mondays and Wednesdays, and will be expected to engage with students and coach them through the discovery of new information. They will also be expected to meet regularly with the course professor and grade student work. This is a full TAship, which is 192h for the term.

If you are interested and able to teach this course, please contact Liane Chen (lchen@zoology.ubc.ca) and Kathy Nomme (nomme@zoology.ubc.ca).

Thanks,

Liane
