Here are some common questions which are answered for you.

Q: Is the club open to partnerships/advertising/collaborations?

A: No, we are a small club and all of our resources go towards providing quality teaching and space for our members. Please DO NOT contact us with unsolicited requests.

Q: What does this club do?

A: Mainly we provide free guided meditations to all students who are interested (schedule here).

Q: When are the sits?

A: You can find our schedule here

Q: How do I join?

A: It’s as simple as showing up to one of the sits with $5 for a membership. This will give you access to all of the sits for the year.

Q: I’m not a student. Can I still come to sits?

A: Yes! While this club is aimed towards UBC students all community members are welcome to come to any of our events. The only difference is than non-ams fee paying members (ie: Do not pay UBC tuition and fees) will have their membership cost $10.

Q: Do I have to be Buddhist to join?

A: No, we are not a religiously affiliated club. Many meditations that are taught are descended from some form of Buddhism, but there is no expectation for members to hold to any of these traditions.
