Similar to all external journey that requires a vehicle, the journey into inner space also requires a vehicle and this vehicle is meditation.

 Pooja Sharma

From being the one who used to looked down upon meditation to the one who is chasing, learning, living and diving into it every day, I am transforming. Started as a lost soul, I began my transformation journey unknowingly. Became a Certified Tarot Reader in 2020 and it was just the beginning. In 2021, I learnt various other modalities including Pendulum Dowsing and Oracle Reading. I started meditating for 2 hours every day because I could feel the bliss in rest of my 22 hours. I initiated it as a mental workout and soon begun to unlock things I never felt before. I was becoming more aware and intuitive every day and it was then when I decided I need to get professionally trained for meditations. My urge to learn more took me to Reiki Healing, Angel Therapy, Chakra Healing and I was not the same person anymore, something just changed in me and I was then driven to Akashic Records and Past Life Regression. Under the guidance of Vedic meditation trainers, I kept on polishing my techniques for two years. I never thought of teaching and was content with my own growth that one day one of my friends tried committing suicide and along with time, healing sessions, guided meditations and therapies she was able to heal and today is a successful Investment Banker in United States. She became my inspiration to help, teach and guide people. She made me realize that if I have the ability to contribute anything to make something better for other people then why not. So here I am with 3 years of learnings, professional certifications, blissful experiences, practice and my commitment to help, I welcome you all to Mind-workout sessions with me. Let’s start it as a workout, may be few years down the line, you would find yourself writing the same story about your own journey.

    Hello,
My name is Gabe Zieff and I am an incoming post-doctoral fellow at UBC interested in the mindfulness offerings. Based on the schedule, it looks like there is just one offering per month on campus? Do you know of any other mindfulness opportunities across campus or in the community. I am interested in joining a Sangha and have practiced in the Plum Village/Thich Nhat Hanh tradition previously.

Thank you so much : )

Hi Gabe, thank you for reaching out. Please follow us @ubcmeditationcommunity on instagram for the most reliable updates from the current executives of the club 🙂 I think the club has regular room bookings every month on a Monday evening, and frequently plan other activities as well.
