Matt Noseworthy

Matt Noseworthy is a PhD student in neuroscience at UBC, a distance runner, and an ever-growing meditator. He began regularly practising meditation and yoga in 2017, with his main experience in mindfulness meditation. Formally, Matt has completed the Mindfulness Based-Stress Reduction and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy courses. Through meditation, Matt has found improved emotional and attentional awareness and control, as well as an increased sense of happiness and oneness.

Through this club, he hopes to help share and further explore the power of meditation. In particular, we hope that this club will help members of the UBC community to embrace meditation as a tool to support their mental and spiritual wellbeing.
