1. Below are Gibson predictions sent to me on March 16, 2009.

   I say this year we get a redo at the end of the first week of the season and a second call at the All Star break. That way, it is more fun and we can do better. Maybe.

   AL East
   1. Boston Red Sox
   2. New York Yankees (Aroid is poison)
   3. Tampa Bay Rays (but I am rooting for them anyway)
   4. Baltimore Orioles
   5. Toronto Blue Jays

   AL Central
   1. Tigers (no doubt about it this time, Mags rules plus I think it is rigged this year, as in 68).
   2. Cleveland Indians –time for a name change.
   3. Twinkies….could move up.
   4. Kansas City Royals –above the Chisox–indeed…revenge for the Obamagogue
   5. Chicago White Sox

   AL West
   1. Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim –Hate la but ya gotta trust Orange County
   2. Texas Rangers –hate Tx more
   3. Seattle Mariners only because OA is worse
   4. Oakland Athletics —o for Joe Rudy…..

   NL West
   1. Los Angeles Dodgers –MR is nuts bwth
   2. Arizona Diamondbacks …Snakes bought the Padres (sic and Sick)
   3. San Francisco Giants bring back Barry!
   4. Colorado Rockies ..fell apart
   5. San Diego Padres I am going to Lake Elsinore instead.

   NL Central
   1. St. Louis Cardinals
   2. Cubbies, but the Obamagogue curse may finish them too.
   3. Reds
   4. Milwaukee Brewers –could do a switcheroo with the Redlegs
   5. Houston Astros ////Tx sucks.
   6. Pittsburgh Pirates–my dream team, along with Tampa Bay, but they ain’t gonna do it for me.

   3. Marlins
   4. Atlanta Braves –sorry Wayne, dude, but Frenchy is a wreck….
   5. Washington Nationals –bring back Moby Fick and lift the curse on all of baseball!

   3. Colorado Rockies (do not drink fascist Coors beer)
   4. San Francisco Giants (the best pitching in baseball; Zito will win 15; Lincecum wins 25; alas, they can’t hit the ball out of the infield )
   5. San Diego Padres (the “camo uniforms” will be their signature; send them to Afghanistan)

   1.The Cubs (Obama doesn’t get the blame for this either)
   2. Redlegs (an all Ohio World series?!)
   3. St Louis (The most overrated manager in baseball)
   4. Milwaukee Brewers (they could win this division;if they do, Bud Selig will name the world series after himself)
   5. Houston Astros (who cares?)
   6. Pittsburgh Pirate Any respectable Cleveland fan hates this city)

   2. The Marlins ( any team that beats the Indians in the WS must not prevail! No,over a decade later and I’m still not over it…)

5. Hey Rich! Have you been to the Cuyahoga lately? There are actually fish swimming in the river and Lake Erie – quite a recovery. You are living in the 70’s, my man. I will concede though, the river bottom is a toxic mess. Just don’t eat the catfish…

   I suggest a pleasure trip to CleveTown and a visit to the RR Hall of Fame ( and of course an Indians vs. Tigers game…)
