“Weaving in Quechua: Women, Language and Community”
Spanish for Community and Spanish 302 classes are delighted to welcome Ashli Akins to talk about the place of language and women’s agency in the weaving communities of the Peruvian High Andes. Ashli is the founder and director of Mosqoy.org with whom we have had the honor of partnering in several translation projects.
