The Vancouver Sun: Teacher ponder another strike

It’s been only four months since an illegal strike closed B.C. public schools for two weeks, but teachers — whose union is to enter a new round of bargaining March 1 — are already contemplating another strike in September if they don’t have a new contract before then.
Two resolutions to be debated at the annual general meeting of the B.C. Teachers’ Federation next month urge members to hold a strike vote before June 30, when their current contract expires, with a plan of not returning to work after summer vacation unless bargaining has produced a new deal.
