I have reviewed your LinkedIn profile, great work! Below you will find some suggestions as to how you may be able to improve it;
First Impression
Overall, your profile looks great. It is inviting and looks professional.
Headline, Photo and Summary
Your profile picture is perfect for LinkedIn. It is professional and inviting. Additionally, I like that you have added a cover photo of Vancouver. This makes your profile more interesting and shows were you are located. Your headline is clear but it would be nice if you included what your aspirations are. For example “Student at The University Of British Columbia aspiring to go into Public Policy”. Your summary is great! It is short yet reflects your personality and describes your skills and aspirations.
Experience
You have all your experiences listed with the dates and the position held. My one suggestion for this section would be to add a brief description to each role. Just like a resume add what your role entailed and skills you may have developed. Additionally, you have a wealth of volunteer experience which is great but explaining what you did in each role would be beneficial.
Education
Your education is clear. You have specified the school you attended along with the dates and specialization.
Endorsements
The endorsements on your page are relevant and make sense to your desired field. You also have a lot of endorsements so it shows you are qualified in the relevant fields.
Grammar and Punctuation
I could not find any grammatical errors. The tone is professional while showcasing your personality.
Conclusion
Overall, your profile is strong and professional. The only thing I would suggest is adding in descriptions to each position. Other than that, great work Chelsea!
