Title: The teacher’s role in provoking dialogue
The goal of this meeting will be a kind of ‘autopsy’ of transcriptions or recordings of dialogues where things ‘went wrong’ or were ‘led astray’. We will examine, analyze and understand those excerpts and try to develop a ‘toolkit’ for similar situations when facilitating philosophical inquiries. Dr. Margaret MacDonald, Tiffany Poirier and Warren Bowen kindly offered to facilitate this meeting.
