CEAB GRADUATE ATTRIBUTE: LIFE LONG LEARNING
Students graduating with an engineering degree from the University of British Columbia possess the ability to identify and to address their own educational needs in a changing world in ways sufficient to maintain their competence and to allow them to contribute to the advancement of knowledge.
CIVIL ENGINEERING PROGRAM INDICATORS (required by CEAB):
Those graduating with a civil engineering degree will be able to:
- 12.1: Self-Regulated Learning – demonstrate a motivation to learn and achieve learning outcomes through strategic action;
- 12.2: Self-Efficacy – demonstrate belief in one’s own ability to set and achieve goals;
- 12.3: Reflection – demonstrate higher order thinking through reflective exercises and constructive self-criticism.
