Those graduating with a civil engineering degree will be able to:

  • 4.1:  Identify and Describe Design Context – identify the background and context of complex civil engineering problems;
  • 4.2:  Apply the Integrative Design Process – apply the integrated design process for a conceptual design;
  • 4.3:  Generate Detailed Designs – formulate detailed designs related to at least two of:  construction process design; geotechnical design; hydrotechnical design; structural design; transportation design; water treatment design;
  • 4.4: Participate in Multi-Stakeholder Detailed Design – participate in infrastructure design activities involving multiple sub-disciplines, and multiple stakeholders.
