PROVOKING THE IMAGINATION

Panel Session: “Citizens and City Futures”

An in-class panel session was organized with the aim of generating intellectual conversation around the emergent challenges and opportunities within urban public space and civic engagement. Three presenters were invited not only to share inspiring examples of their practice/work in relation to city-making, but also to offer provocative insights on the future possibilities of (re)energizing urban public space and civic engagement. The panel session was followed by a fast-paced segment in which student teams delivered 1-minute preliminary pitches of their projects to the presenters and other invited guests for constructive feedback.
