SITE WALKS
Two concurrent site walks at Quilchena Park and Kerrisdale Junction, led by Kevin Connery (Landscape Architect, City of Vancouver) and Jordan Magtoto (Planning Analyst, City of Vancouver) respectively, enabled students to not only interact directly with city staff involved in the Arbutus Greenway initiative but also glean preliminary impressions of the project sites. It was expected that student teams would build on these initial site impressions through additional observations, analyses, and research outside of classroom time.
