HUBBUB @ VANCOUVER CITY HALL

Winning projects from the Ideathon Challenge advanced to HUBBUB at Vancouver City Hall. Organized by CityStudio Vancouver, HUBBUB is an end-of-semester showcase event featuring student projects from UBC, SFU, BCIT, Langara College, and Emily Carr.

2017 Ideathon Challenge — Winning Projects

Site A: Quilchena Park

  • Project Title: “Spark in the Park” — A public fire pit designed to facilitate community bonding and social interactions.
  • Team: The Kermits

Site B: Kerrisdale Junction

  • Project Title: “Community out of Chaos” — Creating an outdoor community gathering space in the heart of Kerrisdale.
  • Team: Node-nsity
