JUDGES’ CHOICE PROJECTS
HUBBUB @ VANCOUVER CITY HALL
Two projects selected through the in-class Pitch-and-Judge session advanced to HUBBUB #9 at Vancouver City Hall. Organized by CityStudio Vancouver, HUBBUB is an end-of-semester showcase event featuring student projects from UBC, SFU, BCIT, Langara College, and Emily Carr.
2017 Ideathon Challenge — Judges’ Choice Projects
Site A: Quilchena Park
Project Title: “Spark in the Park” —A public fire pit designed to facilitate community bonding and social interactions.
Team: The Kermits
Site B: Kerrisdale Junction
Project Title: “Community out of Chaos” — Creating an outdoor community gathering space in the heart of Kerrisdale.
