Hi Meagan,
I have reviewed your definition assignment on Dental Radiographs. It was very clear and straight to the point so it made it very easy for me who never heard the word before to understand. After reviewing, I would like to suggest you the following:
Purpose: I think that your introduction was very clear about your background in dental which helps us to understand why you chose that word. However, I would suggest that you put a context to who you are explaining this definition to and why are you the one explaining that definition.
Jargon: Overall, your use of words is straightforward and easy to follow. However, there is one word in specific – Periodontium/Periodontal – because as someone who have no background in dental, I don’t know exactly what you are referring to. So, my suggestion is to explain the word or replace it with a word that is easier for people who are not familiar with dental vocabularies.
Overall, your definition assignment was great. There was not a lot of things to correct. Your use of visual was clear and effective. All of your definitions was also relatively easy to understand. I hope my suggestions can help you edit your assignment. With the small amount of suggestion I can give you, it should indicate that you deserve a very good mark! Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you need me to elaborate on certain things.
