Subject: Order mix up Oct 21st 2019
Deer Garden Signatures is a casual cantonese restaurant that is best known for their traditional fish broth with rice noodles. In the past ive had nothing but great experiences with the restaurant as I genuinely enjoy both the food and drinks at the restaurant. Unfortunately, all of this changed on October 21st and I am writing now to inform you of my dissatisfaction.
On October 21st 1pm me and three friends decided to go to Deer Garden Signatures for lunch. We seated and ordered quickly but when the waitress brought the food over to us, I immediately noticed that my order was wrong as the soup broth I had chosen was completely different then the one that was given to me. I then told the waitress that this was not what I ordered and instead I had requested for the soup broth with century eggs. The waitress then insisted that this was my order and if I wanted to change the order I would have to pay a separate fee. Not wanting to cause a commotion or pay a separate fee, I grudgingly accepted my meal.
The restaurant on that day was extremely busy and I understand the waitress was most likely unable to deal with the situation in the most effective matter due to the amount of customers she was dealing with that day. So instead I am reaching out now to ask if it would be possible for me to receive a free meal the next time I visit Deer Garden Signatures due to the inconvenience of my last meal. I have been a loyal customer for many years and I would like to love to continue to support this restaurant.

Thank you for contacting us and informing us about your mishap that occurred at our restaurant. On behalf of the staff of Deer Garden Signatures we would like to apologize for this incident as we highly value our customer satisfaction when they visit our establishment.
We have reached out to the staff members working on the day of the incident, but we were unable to determine which staff member was serving you on that day. With that being said we understand mis orders happen all the time at restaurants and the staff member at the time should have immediately offered you to switch the order with no extra charges.
We appreciate the support that we receive from all loyal customers and would like to inform you that we have decided to honour your request by giving you a free meal coupon that you can use whenever you like. The coupon will then be attached below on this email.
