Day 2- Mobiles for M-Learning

Do you have a good m-learning device? Apply Koole’s framework to your own mobile. Would you use your device for m-learning? Why or why not?

Going off my first post, I do “have” an m-learning device, but do I “use” it? No! Would I like to? Yes!

I am going to pretend that I have purchased the iPhone 5 and apply Koole’s framework to this device…

I would definitely use my device for m-learning. I believe iPhones, “allow learners to focus on thinking tasks without distraction by being portable, responsive, unlikely to fail, and offering easily used inputs and displays” (Koole 2009). I believe the iPhone also offers a variety of different m-learning tools and through its touch screen and easy functioning applications anyone, at almost any age could interact with the device.

I believe the only problem with the iPhone is having to pay for a larger data plan or the small screen.
