My group’s final project for Quaternary Geomorphology. We conducted on-site surveys of the Point Grey Cliffs’ slope, classified soil types, researched the effects of local tree species, and reviewed previous research papers regarding efforts at containing erosion. We used our research to provide an educated estimate for the number of years before the Cliffs would reach the Museum of Anthropology, taking into account the present rate of erosion and efforts taken to slow this process.
