Research in GIS requires an adept understanding of a diverse set of definitions, ideas, functions, and statistics. As students of GIS, we have been exposed to these terms before. However, review is often necessary, as terms learned before regularly pop up in new formulas and instructions. This segment of the blog serves to document some of this learning.
