I am a student at University of British Columbia, studying in the Environment & Sustainability Program. The program combines field data acquisition, lab work, literature reviews, and GIS components to gain a better understanding of the interactions between society and the natural environment.

Geography interests me because I like uncovering hidden connections between entities and events that seem otherwise uncorrelated, and I hope to use my education in the environmental assessment sector.

I specialize in GIS applications: I volunteer with Pacific Spirit Park Society (PSPS) and work part-time with Stanley Park Ecology Society (SPES). I collect and organize invasive plant species spatial data throughout Pacific Spirit Park. I am a GIS administrator and cartographer with SPES, creating online map applications and publishing invasive species maps for their annual State of Ecological Integrity in Stanley Park (SOPEI) Report.
