Wood is a widly used construction material with characteristics of steady and stiffness. In most traditional cases, wood panels are connected orthogonally to be frames, braces, tenons. shaping a upright and foursauqre sapce.

Within the simple logic of connection only, space could also be very organic by adopting parametric design. Wood panels can not only strech in two-dimension, but multi-directional, or even trans-dimensional.

By deconstructing a waving surface, the waffle sturcutre could achieve a dynamic but steady form with a gradient changing light effect. While a surface could warp into a volume creating

a twisting volume. Then a dual-twisting volume gives a more complex spatial experience with rhythm, creating a canyon envision or even like a spatio-temporal tunnel.
