As an intensive introduction to the studio, a workshop was held on robotic fabrication of wood. The workshop was hosted by Oliver David Krieg of the Institute of Computational Design at University of Stuttgart and David Correa from the University of Waterloo. The workshop was a five day intensive design build project which created an installation at the corner of Main Mall and University Boulevard on campus.
