FEELed Lab

Astrida Neimanis with research students in the lab at Woodhaven

The FEELed Lab is a collaborative and interdisciplinary environmental humanities field lab located at Woodhaven, on the top floor of the main house.

The FEELed Lab is a feminist environmental humanities field research lab with the goal of creating a hub for researchers, students and community members who share common interests in environment and sustainability issues, specifically from feminist, queer, anti-colonial and disability justice perspectives.

To date, the FEELed Lab has organized and hosted a series of events, such as the Littoral Listening sessions and Fringe Natures outdoor gatherings.

Dr. Astrida Neimanis is the director of the lab, and is an Associate Professor cross-appointed in the Faculty of Creative and Critical Studies (FCCS) and the Irving K. Barber Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS).
