Girls Raising Presentations are a unique series of events geared towards helping women founded startups get publicity, network with like-minded entrepreneurs, and meet influential women and men that can move their businesses forward.
The inaugural Vancouver event will be held on October 29th at 6:30 to 9:00 pm at the new Facebook offices in downtown Vancouver (1555 West Pender St). This comes hot off the heels of their first two New York City events of the same nature, where Girls Raising partnered with some of NYC’s most well-known women founders and investors. This event will be an opportunity for founders, entrepreneurs, investors, and anyone interested in startups to share, network and learn from the successes and some mistakes of those rallying behind entrepreneurial women and their endeavours.
At the event five women founders will present their companies to a panel of successful founders and investors for a round of actionable feedback and advice. This month’s panel includes. This month’s panel includes:
UBC Students: A special offer for the first 10 students to redeem with code “UBC” for a reduced $15 ticket.
