Common Name: Wild valerian / Sitka valerian
(Plant with white flowers and 3 leaflets at centre).
Family: Caprifoliaceae (Valerian family)
Information: A perennial with woody rhizomatous stem base, opposite leaves. Common at mid to high elevations in moist habitats along streams, in meadow, and in open subalpine forest (Pojar & MacKinnon 2014).
