Hello, my name is Chris and I am a Senior Lecturer at the University of Melbourne. I completed my PhD at the University of Melbourne focusing on biogeochemistry of Eucalyptus forests recovering from fire. My research areas include, but are not limited to, Forest Ecology, Forest Soils, Forest Productivity, and Nutrient Cycling. Before that I worked as a Research Forester at APM Forests, Victoria on National Afforestation Program.

Hello, my name is Luba Volkova and I am a Research Fellow at the University of Melbourne, Australia. I completed a PhD in plant ecological physiology at the University of Melbourne, and have a bachelor degree in forest engineering from Moscow State Forest University, Russia. My work experience ranges from forestry consultancy financed by the International Finance Corporation and World Bank, to developing national standards for voluntary forest certification under PEFC umbrella, in which I represented Russia at the international arena. My research areas include forest carbon cycle, fuel dynamics, carbon fire emission, and forest biomass.
