We are delighted to announce that Sandra Zuluaga Sánchez, Fundación Ratón de Biblioteca (FRB) director, and Yamili Ocampo Molina, FRB project(s) director, will be visiting our SPAN 401 virtual classroom! We will discuss Ratón de Biblioteca’s mission to Medellin’s community, our collaborative community-based translation project, and much more!

Many thanks to María Adelaida Escobar-Trujillo, Community Liaison, for introducing Spanish for Community and SPAN 401 to such an incredible community organization!

Fundación Ratón de Biblioteca (Colombia) is a community organization that facilitates and supports access to library services as well as reading and literacy programs to families, children and youth living in challenging areas of Medellín aiming towards fostering community and civic engagement for a more creative and peaceful society.
