We are delighted to announce that Anshela Paravecino Kehuaracho, Anthropologist and Mosqoy’s Cross-Program Community Facilitator,  will be visiting our SPAN 401 virtual classroom! 

Spanish for Community  is hosting an online Quechua information session for SPAN 401 students. The presentation, led by Anshela Paravecino Kehuaracho, will provide an introduction to the Quechua language and the discussion will follow a Q&A.

Bio: Anshela is an anthropologist, who studied at the National University in Cusco. She works as a liaison with all of Mosqoy’s partnering communities to build and maintain positive working relationships, and to communicate effectively in both Quechua and Spanish.

 

Mosqoy is a grassroots organization that works towards global sustainability and resilience by empowering local culture. Working with rural Quechua populations in the Andean mountains of Peru, Mosqoy believes in empowering local communities through international solidarity and networking, sharing stories of celebration, struggle, and strength.
