Family: Caryophyllaceae
Information: Moss campion grows in a low cushion form in order to shelter itself from high winds and trap heat, moisture and nutrients. Occurs in high mountains along rocky and exposed areas having well-drained soils with adequate moisture supply (Pojar & MacKinnon 2014).
