Common name: Alpine blue grass

Family: Poaceae

Information:  This grass species is a perennial with a dense base. It is commonly found in exposed wet areas throughout the ESSF and AT zones. It grows meadows, streams, avalanche tracks, and scree slopes (Douglas, G.W. et al.).
