By the end of Module 3, participants will be able to:
- Explain the concept of multiple-use in forest management;
- Describe the concept of trade-off and how it is applied for the sustainable use of forest ecosystem services;
- Elaborate on the principles and present the strategies for using forest ecosystem services with a main emphasis on payment for ecosystem services; and
- Explain the steps involved in the implementation of payment for ecosystem services.
