Subject: Posting of Research Proposal
According to the requirements of assignment 1 of Unit 2, I have posted my research proposal in my team forum.
The topic I chose is related to the community where I am living, using my strata community as a base to dig into the reason why the community participation rate is decreasing. I observed a phenomenon that the number of people participating to vote for the community committee is cutting down and believe that this phenomenon is not only faced by my community but also exists in many communities. Along with being willing to explore the nature of this problem, I also would like to be able to carry out research and investigation to put forward practical and useful plans. If my plans are workable, it can be used as improvement plans for many other communities in other areas.
My proposal includes the following:
- Background information and data obtained after the initial investigation
- Statements of the existing problem observed
- Two proposed solutions to the problem
- Possible influencing factors related to the problem
- Proposed methods: primary data source and secondary data sources
- My qualification and thoughts on the problem
- Conclude to get approval from the strata manager
