Visual performance

• Profile picture
o Clear, professional, and modern — looks good!

• Overall aesthetic
o Simple, concise, information is clearly available.

Conciseness
o Your job descriptions in bullet form increase readability and are descriptive without being wordy, which is great!

• Personalized URL
o Your current URL is alisonma610. It would be better to change to a URL that is more personalized i.e alison-ma

Personal summary

• Concise details
o Clear and to the point, although perhaps you can put that you are interested in jobs in strategic and product management in the first sentence so it is clear to visitors what kind of jobs you are looking for.

• Description of career interests
o I would recommend getting a bit more specific in terms of what kind of future work you’d like to be involved in — you mention you have “experience in Google Analytics, Google Analytics, Microsoft”, etc. but do not make it clear what kind of experience this is, as these are huge companies with a wide variety of software that you may have used.

• Specific accomplishments
o It may be a good idea to include personal accomplishments to highlight your skills in your personal summary area.

• Tone
o Your tone is professional, although it can be improved by using an in the active voice (for example, “I could communicate professionally in written and verbal channels” should be “I can communicate professionally in written and verbal channels”).

Work experience

• Work experience is relevant
o Good work with your work experience! You have incorporated specific examples such as “Achieved $1 Million donation target by…”, which makes for a strong profile.

• Sufficient details are included
o All of your work experience has enough details for employers to view.

• Information is presented in an easy to read manner
o Your work experience is in concise bullet points, well done!

Education

• Listing of formal education
o It is a bit hard to understand your degree information. It says from 2016-2017 you did a BA, and then a BIE from 2017-2021. If you transferred to the BIE program from the BA program perhaps add some clarifications.

• Listing of licenses and certifications
o Good use of certifications in piano and leadership.

Skills

• Listing of skills
o You’ve got a large list of skills in a variety of subject areas which is great.

• Endorsements from peers
o You don’t actually have any endorsements. The best way to get endorsements is to endorse other people and perhaps they will endorse you as well.

Interests

• Interested in potential employers
o I see you are interested in Lululemon which you have worked for previously, as well as a variety of technology and consulting companies that align with your professional interests, which is great!

• Interest in charitable organizations
o It comes across well when you’re interested in charitable organizations. In your volunteer experience it seems you have experience with a variety of charities — perhaps add these to your interests as well.

Final Comments

You have a strong LinkedIn profile with a lot of good work experience, and I hope that, with these tips, it can become even better and will come across as a much more active and involved page. Please take my advice into consideration as you go forward in your LinkedIn journey.
